“The MSM, elites, Democrats and RINOs do not realize it, but they have discredited themselves that their attacks on President Trump are now working against their interests” — Paul Ebeling
Do not believe the MSM and most DC politicians declaring that the entire country is appalled at President Trump and wants him erased from history.
This falsehood is being pushed by MSM and other Democrats in the wake of the BLM-Antifa terrorist attack on the US Capitol Building Wednesday during the Save the Steal March.
It has been persuasive to the media, including many nominal conservatives, and may have convinced many Republican politicians that President Trump is now a marginal figure and should be shunned, the declarations do not represent the views of The People.
On the 5th and 6th of January, President Trump’s total approval rating was 47%. The direction of The People’s sentiment is very important. Far from deserting President Trump, the public is staying with him and even increasing approval within the margin of polling error.
Rasmussen has multiple video evidence of uniformed capital police officers waving unscreened people into security zones and opening doors at the capital building for unscreened citizen access.
“In my opinion, what the Media and Congress should investigate is the Capitol Police plus the Metropolitan Police in Washington, D.C. and certain key members of Congress itself who preside over Washington’s Law and Order. They and only they are responsible for the disarray in the Capital on January 6th, perhaps the greatest policing and Congressional failure in American history. Had they taken the necessary precautions that they are taken on other marches on the Capitol such as the BLM March, none of this would had happened. The other question one might ask is: did certain members of Congress knowingly and willing allow the January 6th fiasco to purposely happened? My personal response: Yes and probably for some very personal reasons too, well know to most of us!
“By the way, did many of you notice that few of the responding police wore protected helmets, batons nor carried body shields Why, did not they not so do as they did in Seattle?
“My other question is: given the below, should the entire blame for January 6th rest on our President – you make that decision after further reading herein?
“So, who are the Capitol Police and from whom do they take their orders Surprise – Congress, yes Congress, not the President of the United States. Perhaps, you might read further to understand their exact role in our Capitol and they they did not, along with the other two enforcement agencies take the proper precautions in protecting our Capitol with any shortcomings from such a massive march.
“The United States Capitol Police (USCP) is a federal law enforcement agency in the United States charged with protecting the United States Congress within the District of Columbia and throughout the United States and its territories. It answers to Congress, not the President of the United States, and is the only full-service federal law enforcement agency responsible to the legislative branch of the federal government of the United States.
“The United States Capitol Police has the primary responsibility for protecting life and property, preventing, detecting, and investigating criminal acts, and enforcing traffic regulations throughout a complex of congressional buildings, parks, and thoroughfares. The Capitol Police has primary jurisdiction within buildings and grounds of the United States Capitol Complex.
“It also has concurrent jurisdiction with other law enforcement agencies, including the United States Park Police and the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia, in an area of approximately 200 blocks around the complex.
“Officers also have jurisdiction throughout the District of Columbia to take enforcement action when they observe or are made aware of crimes of violence while on official duties. Additionally, they are charged with the protection of members of Congress, officers of Congress, and their families throughout the entire United States, its territories and possessions, and the District of Columbia. While performing protective functions, the Capitol Police have jurisdiction throughout the entire United States.
“The jurisdiction of the United States Capitol Police centers on the United States Capitol building in Washington, D.C., the adjacent congressional (House and Senate) offices, and the Library of Congress buildings. This primary jurisdiction is about 270 acres, with about 58 acres the Capitol-grounds itself.
“As of 2020, the USCP has an annual budget of more than $460 million and employs more than 2000 police officers, making it one of the most well-funded and well-staffed police departments relative to the two square miles that it guards,” explains HeffX-LTN’s political columnist Bruce WD Barren.
