This 2-night luxury trip begins in Reims, France, and finishes at the exclusive Hotel Cipriani in Venice, All Aboard!
Luxury traveler company Belmond launched its Venice Simplon-Orient-Express service in Y 1982, taking its guests from London to Venice and beyond, on its carefully restored vintage train cars.
Belmond knows luxury, as it became part of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton nearly 3yrs ago.
This Summer, it is offering a super travel package when it takes its Venice Simplon-Orient-Express guests on a journey to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Veuve Clicquot.
The trip will begin on Sunday, 5 June, in Reims, France, where Veuve Clicquot has called home since Y 1772. After watching the Sun rise over the city, guests will tour the Veuve Clicquot cellars with its cellarmaster Didier Mariotti. Then when everyone has finished lunch and their Champagne, it is All Aboard!
Once onboard, travelers will be treated to chef Jean Imbert’s 4-course pairing dinner, and more Veuve Clicquot, of course.
The next morning, guests can watch another Sunrise and stretch their legs in Innsbruck station after passing into Austria. When the train arrives in Venice, everyone will be taken by boat to Belmond’s own Cipriani hotel. The festivities will continue that evening, with a Sunset Ball.
After shutting down operations in Y 1977, this historic, luxury rail experience is making its way back to Italy with new trains and itineraries going beyond the famed Paris-to-Istanbul route that started it all.
Enjoy your travels this Spring and Summer, the chaos is ending fast! Keep the Faith!
